About the city

Marne-la-Vallee is a town formed on the outskirts of Paris just 40 years ago. Although a fairly young city, it is quite heavily inhabited and offers many attractions. It has grown in fields like economy and industry, without forgetting to preserve the cultural past of the area or to promote its tourist attraction.

City Areas

            Marne-la-Vallée has been established on an area covering 26 communes, in the départements of Seine-et-Marne, Seine-Saint-Denis and Val-de-Marne.The area has been divided into four sectors

Attractions

Beside the world famous Disney Paris amusement park, the area offers a mall for passionate shoppers or for the occasional tourist in search of rest and also some historical locations with an important cultural significance.

Transportation

The geographical location in rapport to Paris assures numerous means of transportation for the area. Marne-la-Vallee is served by 2 RER lines, a line of network Transilien Paris-Est, 2 bus networks (RATP and Pep’s), a TGV station, the A4 (Highway in the East) and has an airfield. Rental cars are also available.

Events

Most events in the area revolve around Disney Paris, but don’t think that only the children will be impressed. The shows and lights are a pleasure to the eye of anyone.

Restaurants

Quick snack or consistent lunch, you have where to choose from in Marnee-la-Vallee.Most restaurants feature different themes, but there are some places where one can have a classic dinner in a traditional or romantic setting.

As it appeared in 1960, Marnee-la-Valee is a very young city but its importance in fields such as  economy and tourism cannot be denied.

A heaven for children everywhere, the Disneyland resort in Paris brings joy to any visitor of any age that enters the magic realm. All the classic Disney characters are there to entertain visitors that decide to spend a day or more riding the attractions of the park.
